Lubbock

I was planning on going to this but with work is isn't going to workout. And of course they send the tickets out so late you really don't have any time to get rid of it.
That's why I hate to try and plan ahead. Work always gets in the way. My best vacations are usually a last minute fly by the seat of my pants type thing.

DFW Cyclones are having a small tailgate at Lubbock. USA Black Parking Lot (corner of Marsha Sharp Fwy, aka US Hwy 62, and Texas Tech Pkwy) - look for the 30' flag pole with the red ISU flag. Lots open at 7:30. Cost is $20/car. Shuttle is $5 rt cash only. I got an email today about this, but it is not yet up on the dfwcyclone.org website. Should be under the newsletter button once it is posted.

Road trips are what you make of them. I heard over and over how terrible WVU fans were, but my trip to Morgantown was incredible

I've been to Morgantown and had a great time with their fans (if any WVU fans are reading this, please send moonshine, please)...but then again none of their fans threw AAA batteries at me either.

There's a saying down here in Texas. "Lubbock.....where there's a pretty girl behind every tree!"

I have only been to BBall games due to the football games being on Black Friday weekend but there fans have been awesome. As are all of the fans I meet in everyday life.
