Yep I typically drink one of these then have a couple beers and it's a perfect night. Way healthier than drink a few beers in a night to catch a buzz. Probably saves me money in the long run too and I feel way better the next day

It wouldn't surprise me. I think it's still illegal to produce the product in Iowa, so Lua's are actually brewed by Fair State in Minnesota.
Fair State is less than a mile from where I live. Awesome place, awesome people.
My partner is working at another business on the same block, and they have a "community" benefit which basically means it's always happy hour for us. It's been great.
I was mostly joking about the 4-5 to feel it (making fun of Jonas), but I still think they're a rip off. Only costs ~$3/tablet for the 20mg THC tablets that Bud & Marys sell. I'm sure it's not quite the same feeling, but $6-7 per can for 5mg is crazy.
I find that hard to believe (as someone who occasionally vapes/uses edibles 'medically'). Are you specifically referring to these Lua drinks, or something you've had elsewhere?
Like I said in the post I just made, I was making fun of Jonas with my 4-5 comment, but no way I believe a 5mg THC can of non-alcoholic beverage is the equivalent to 6-8 beers. I think a regular cannabis THC 10mg gummie would compare to 6-8 light beers.
I’ve only taken 10MG at a time once, and I was unpleasantly intoxicated. 6-8 beers is a more pleasant intoxication.
My alcohol tolerance has always been on the high side and my THC tolerance on the low side.
I drink much less every day. 10mg is OK for me, 5 really doesn't do much.
I like drinking THC more than taking a gummy. I've had a couple really tasty seltzers and sipping on it vs taking a gummy is nice because it doesn't hit you all at once. I've found the seltzer hits me quicker and doesn't last as long which is nice imo. Sometimes it gets too late to take a gummy on a weekday or they last a long time

You're probably right - I would hope those are at least 16 oz pours compared to these THC drinks being only 12. But yeah, when you put it that way it seems less insane.
Everyone has different tolerances and reactions to substances so we’re all reporting anecdotal experiences. 10MG is room-spinning drunk (which I haven’t been in ages) unpleasant for me. 5 is like tailgating buzz.
