For hardcore Lost fans, you are well aware of show created websites like Oceanic airlines, Dharma initiative, etc...Anyway, they introduced a new show airline last night; Ajira Airways. Anyway, here's a link to their flights page. They show departing flights from non other than Ames, IA

I was very sad to see that all flights from Ames to Rome are currently booked. I really wanted to go on a vacation in a couple of weeks.

We definitely know she's from Iowa, and it's been speculated that she's from Ames because the viral marketing has made several mentions of it. Last year, the Oceanic Airlines website "announced" that Oceanic would be resuming flights to and from several cities including Ames.

There was also the Oceanic Airlines billboard that popped up in Ames last year and had FIND815.COM spray painted on it. (The address where the billboard was located was 815 South Duff.)

EDIT -- The other destinations on the Ajira and Oceanic websites are also believed to be the hometowns of other characters.

Well, I definitely remember Sayid being from Baghdad (or, at least Iraq as he was torturing someone at some point), Jin & Sun Kwon were either from Tokyo or Seoul (don't remember whether they're Japanese or Korean), I remember Jack being from New York, and I want to say Charlie Pace was from Sydney. Considering the trend, it would make sense if Kate is an Iowa girl (and we know that she is) that she is from Ames.

Jin & Sun are Korean from Seoul. Charlie is from Manchester, England originally.
