The company I work for is looking to purchase the game for some upcoming events that we will be at this summer. If it were for me I would make it myself. But seeing as it is not, I'd like to make this work task easy.

I have a budget of $75 dollars to spend. I've looked at Wal-Mart and Scheel's and was very disappointed in the version they choose to sell. Wal-Mart's was not even the right size and Scheel's looked poorly built.

Any suggestions on who makes a sturdy version where I could find it?

There are several companies out there...google will turn up a ton.

I will warn you in advance, 75 won't cut it. Especially with shipping. Based on that price you might not have a choice but to build your own....

There is usely someone advertising on the Des Moines Craiglist under the sporting section, not sure on quality though.

Not sure if this will work for your work events or not. Will a grass or dirt area be involved? If so, buy six 1" inner diameter washers, a can or two (different colors) of spray paint, and two 4" sections of pipe (metal is better, plastic will work). Spray paint three of the washers so you can tell one team from the other, bury the pipe sections in the ground twenty feet apart, scoop out the dirt from the center of the pipes and you have yourself a washers pit. Total cost = $10.

Google "washers rules" and you will have a blast.

June 25th, 2009. The day I saw the word cornhole in a thread title, and it wasn't on a porn site.

:biglaugh::biglaugh:

I was going to say the answer to the thread title was "you used to be able to go to the corner of Sixth and University to make your purchase."

I must have a dirty mind.

I was at Dunhams at Merle Hay and they have a very good selection. Some in the aisle and some behind the register. They werent terribly expensive either.

ask the question about a cornhole to an iowa hawkeye.they should be experts on this subject.

Menards has sets on sale for 17.95 picked a set up today...throw a couple ISU stickers on there and they'll look great!

And you live in California so I'm guessing the air you breathe has messed ya up. :smile:

I might have to agree with a hawkeye for once, you have a town named CHINA TOWN. NUFF SAID. (like we don't have enought china crap)
