I don't recall a fistfight with an Iowa State WBB player. If you are talking about the right hook, it was Texas Tech where she bloody her opponent.

Don’t get me wrong…as you all know from my writing I fully realize how the game has changed. BUT…the way that team played on offense would still work today. They had some great athletes on the team and a mindset of taking it right at you. IMO the changes in defense would have little impact on that squad. They would def be challenged by the increased talent, but that isn’t the point of the post. I’d love to see the women be an attacking team again…that’s it.
Like mentioned by op that team was deeper and team basketball was the coaching philosophy.
Almost the last 10 years has been a smaller bench (seems like BF only wants to go 7 maybe 8 deep) and offense has been focused primarily around 1 person.
