Looking ahead to Oklahoma

I would gladly put out $$ on a pay-per-view type of basis. I figure that if I was going to pay for tickets at the venue I could just as easily pony up the money for at-home viewing. But FLO screwed me once before, and I won't go that route again.

What's the word on Shapiro? Didn't he get hurt in the first wrestle-off? I still have great hope for him.

Seemed like the kind of injury that would take him out for the year. He was probably going to lose that wrestle off anyway if I remember right.

Any news slipped out about the Mackall/Kysen wrestle off yet? I've enjoyed watching Mackall and definitely thought he'd be the guy this year.

my understanding is Terukina has already won 2 wrestle offs. How many does he need to win?

I don't think there was any wrestle offs this week.

Pretty sure we won't have Degen, Robinson, Colbray or Shapiro this weekend

Hey guys! We had a really good availability yesterday. I have a bunch of videos I am clipping right now to share on Twitter. We talked to Coach, Terukina and Parker!

Terukina was a lot of fun to talk to honestly! So I am excited to share that with you. Parker talked a lot of technical wrestling which was really good stuff.

As far as wrestle-offs go: there isn't going to be anymore. Coach basically said this will be his call when examining the matches moving forward. Terukina has been the more dominant one as you've seen from him winning the wrestle-offs. Which I think is awesome and bad. Great to know we have a freshman with so much depth but also Mackall what are you doing!

As we've known from the start, the line ups could change next month. He's just being really cautious and doesn't want to push any of the 3 guys out right now too soon without necessarily having to with the whole "It's a learning year". So the rhetoric there hasn't changed at all.

He didn't give any big updates on the physical status of the guys except that they're doing better and training but still just being careful not to push anyone. He did say that Colbray got hurt during drills so that really sucks how they kind of got the **** end on that. Coleman hasn't actually gone at it with Bastida and from the way, he talked I don't see that happening just yet.

I honestly wouldn't even be surprised if we just don't see Shapiro at all this season.

Ref is getting very involved early in this match. Multiple warnings a penalty and a stall in the first 3:30.

I would think that would benefit us. Aren’t we typically pushing the action?

With the edge calls it’s a complete guess at who it will benefit.
Terukina was the aggressor in the match. Gets a counter takedown with 30 seconds left in the match. Terukina wins 6-4.

0-0 after the 1st at 133. Neither guy close to scoring. I think Redding’s handfighting looks good.

side note, UNI stream having lots of issues with sound and choppiness.

Redding 2-2 on their feet with a minute left. I’d like to see him right the mistake from last week and pull this one off with a TD.

Redding gets rode out in double OT and then Madrigal gets away with his turn on bottom. Madrigal wins 3-2 double OT.
