Anybody else having trouble with Directv, Ch. 677, The Longhorn Network? I have Choice Xtra and supposed to get LHN and Directv doesn't know why I'm not getting it.

You only get LHN with the Choice package if you live in Texas. If you don't live in Texas, you have to get the Sports Package. Not surprised that DirecTV customer service wouldn't know this.

I posted in the other thread. I called to add the LHN for a month and was told I needed to get the sports pack. They gave it to me for free for 3 months. May be worth a try for directv folks.

Yes. Call their customer retention department @ 866-975-0217 and tell them you want to try it for free because youre sick of DirecTV and considering dropping it.

I frequently watch it. Women's swimming and diving and field hockey is a great money maker for the network I'm sure.

I had the sport pack for quite a while but none of them would come in. They'd show up in the "channels I get", but when you went to that channel, nothing. Called them three times, never got it fixed, and dropped it.

I'm curious if non revenue Texas sports are getting improved recruiting with the LHN showing some of these games.
