It appears most Iowa fans are confident that Hawkeyes will win in Hilton this year. They are counting on Garza (inside dominance) and Wieskamp (outside dominance) to carry the team. Not sure where this confidence is coming from?

As a super big Iowa fan. I can tell you there is a large number of other Iowa fans that are very delusional. We haven't made the 2nd weekend in the tournament this century, so I really have no idea where the delusion comes from.

I wouldn't be shocked if he snuck into the 1st but I'd probably say he's more of a front half/mid 2nd guy. Has decent size, smart player, good shooter but will always have athleticism limitations and playmaking remains to be seen.
For a Hawkeye yes
He'd probably be a lottery pick if that were true. He has upside in a lot of other areas but athleticism, defense, and playmaking (yet) are not it. That's not to say he can't be adequate in those areas either and still do well for himself at the next level.
I saw the video of Garza sprinting during summer workouts. If you saw him at an MD Dance Marathon you'd think he was one of Jerry's Kids.
