It’s a problem because we aren’t landing any. Sure, every school has some that don’t land, but they also have some that do. ISU has not had any that have landed, outside of Carr. It’s a problem when all of your top recruits don’t make the team for whatever reason. If ISU was 1/3 or 2/4 I wouldn’t consider it a problem, but as of now it’s a goose egg.Fact: Anderson didn't de-commit or flip... He had grade issues. I didn't think anyone was upset with the coaches when the kid didn't get into school for academic reasons. Are you suggesting the coaches should NOT have tried to bring him in? AE flipped but it happens to other top schools. Heck this guy named Suriano left Cael/PSU. To my knowledge PSU fan's aren't asking "what's problem and the plan to fix it". IF your going to go after the best recruits in the world your going to be disappointed when you don't land them. Heck, unless you're PSU I'd guess every program in the country has a problem.
It is definitely not a problem for every school. TOSU, ASU, Rutgers, Cornell, PSU, VT, OSU, Missouri, Northern Colorado, NC State, and Iowa all have landed a top 10 guy in 19 or 20.
ISU is being put recruited by the likes of Northern Colorado, Rutgers, Virginia Tech. Largely due to swings and misses with their top guys.
If ISU misses Facundo that will be 3 straight classes without a 5 star type recruit. Not good news when so many other schools are getting them.
