Last kickoff returned for a TD?

I was thinking about our special teams play the other day and could not recall the last time we returned a kickoff for a touchdown. I did a few interweb searches and it appears the last return for a touchdown was in 1999 by Troy Davis? Not sure if what I found was correct. Anyone recall a more recent one?

Last year against rutgers, but it was called back. I feel like we had one called back against Baylor too

I forgot all about that one! I do think it has been some time since we have had the more "traditional" type of return for a touchdown.

I started looking around the web to see if I could find the longest stretch of kickoff return futility. Before the one against TT, I would think our drought might be right up there.

I seem to recall Jarvis having a 71-yarder returned for a TD but having it called back in one of our later games...

Last "true" kickoff return for a TD was Troy Davis against Colorado in 1994.

Reeves had the last actual one against Tech in 2010, and as mentioned, Jarvis had one against Rutgers that was called back. On a pretty debatable block in the back I might add.

Troy was out of the NFL in 1999

Lenz had a punt return TD against Kansas in 2010. We could use more of those too...

The last one I remember at home was Luther Blue versus Nebraska in 1976. Been too long between kickoff returns! I forgot about Troy Davis in 1994 @ Colorado.

Hahahahaaaa....f'ing tech. I hope we keep owning them. Now that Huckers, Missery, and aTm are gone (Colorado...meh), I have a special place for owning Tech. 'specially after they let that guy who killed five hookers when he was at SMU make them fire their coach.

Ryan Baum returned a punt in 06 as well, Last kickoff that we even came close to returning was LJ in 07 against Okie State, he ran out of gas. Great corner, not great speed.
