There is no upside to Casey completing in this. He can't hit the metrics of a 700 win %. His one shot is to steal a bid by placing high enough at Conference.Swiderski not showing in the 141 bracket currently on Trackwrestling.
That’s crazy given our schedule he couldn’t get enough good wins. So many close losses to tough competition, but he still only had 17 matches. He could’ve used a tournament over Christmas break to get some more matches and potential wins. Guys used to get 30-35 matches no problem and he needed those matches to develop on bottomThere is no upside to Casey completing in this. He can't hit the metrics of a 700 win %. He was hurt for a solid month in there. Really was no opportunity for him to get matches. That’s crazy given our schedule he couldn’t get enough good wins. I thought he only needed 1 more d1 match to qualify for an RPI. If he had an RPI he could get a bid with RPI and coaches rank. There is no upside to Casey completing in this. He can't hit the metrics of a 700 win %. His one shot is to steal a bid by placing high enough at Conference.
Probably would need RPI and Coaches ranking in the25 or better and I don't think that is going to happen. He wrestled a lot of top level competition, but really needed more matches against the 25-50 range. That is looking back. I need to look at his W & L and compare to the rankings thoughI thought he only needed 1 more d1 match to qualify for an RPI. If he had an RPI he could get a bid with RPI and coaches rank.

What does that have to do with my post?
I think whether or not he’s too 28 in the coaches is speculative. He just beat 21, so that will hold some weight. He also hasn’t had an unranked loss.5+8=13
15-13=2
He'd need 2 more D1 matches to even be eligible for RPI. He can't get to Win%, and no way he's getting into the top 28 of CR. No path for him to earn a bid, so no reason to put him out there today.
I think I either asked this or looked it up a couple years ago (was interested in where chase straw was at) and I don’t think it goes that deep into the numbers.I would be interested in seeing his RPI. Does the RPI take into consideration how close the losses are?
The bracket says 16-1 TF Sprately winning.Anyone know the score of the Meza v Sprately match? Track has Meza winning 16-1 but says Sprately won
I feel like track has had more trouble with stuff like this in the past. I noticed this multiple times in almost this exact scenario while following some high school matches this year. Maybe it's just an operator error though.Anyone know the score of the Meza v Sprately match? Track has Meza winning 16-1 but says Sprately won
