Kyle Washington

After Louisville was out, NC State was the only school I was really worried about. Bobby Lutz knows Fred's (And Ames') weaknesses and I'm sure it's easy for him to recruit negatively vs. ISU.

Frustrating to lose out on Washington but our classes are still on the rise. 0 top 100 last year.. 1 top 100 this year.. 2 top 100 next year (so far).. And we're in on a lot of talent for the 2014 class. I know these are only rankings based on projections and it'd be awesome to get all these top rated guys; however, we're still doing a heck of a job on the recruiting trail and it seems like it's only going to continue to get better over the next few years. CFH still knows how to get it done. He'll have a lineup he's confident putting out on the floor by 2013-14 even if that doesn't include Kyle Washington.

I highly doubt Lutz would ever recruit negatively towards Fred and Iowa State.

Uhh, Niang was Top 100 last year. You should really find out the basest of facts before you start posting.

Def not Lutz. That's not his style.

Uhhh, the "basest" for his facts are that they're considering "last year" as Sledge and Gibson (0 of 2), "this year" as Niang (1), and "next year" as Thomas and Morris (2).

Well, my source finally got back with me and said that Washington gave his pledge to the Wolfpack at around 10:45 am. I also asked him in a recent email if we were close to any other recruit. He said, "not really", and that it is a slow period right now for Iowa State recruiting. He said that although they are still actively recruiting, the main focus and emphasis is team work-outs for this season.
