Kyle Washington

I have perfect MBB for this upcoming year - Morris, Thomas, not getting Pelle because we lost interest.

Here are my next three controversial, BOLD predictions

Okoro won't play much his first two years. Not because he isn't talented, but because we're extremely talented. Possible transfer? Again - nothing against him, I just don't see him playing much here. I respect the guy a lot.

Gold jerseys

Kyle Washington will NOT be a Cyclone.

So if i give you $.02 can I still get a cup of coffee or did that go to cover your predictions?

I spoke with a member within the Men's program three months ago (will not reveal my source), but he said that we stood great with recruits Matt Thomas and Kyle Washington. The person also said that Washington had played against Georges Niang back east, and that Washington relished over the idea of being his team at Iowa State.

Now, before you get too excited that was three months ago. And a young man's impressions of a school faster than a New York minute.

But the person I get my information is from is extremely reliable and accurate. Book it, Washington will be in Cardinal and Gold next year!

3 months is a lifetime in recruiting. Any chance you can touch base with this guy in the next hour and help us all out?. This football bye week is driving me mad.

I hate when ISU fans have 0 info but predict we wont get a recruit. Where is the benefit in saying dumb **** like that?

Fyi buzz is at brewster recruiting washington and a former indiana recruit that did not make grades.

Would LOVE more information from the team "source" regarding Washington.. October 27 can't come fast enough! Hopefully if him and Georges really are tight, then we'll be able to reel this kid in.

I haven't read the entire thread, but did he say that he'd be making a decision by October 27???

No, no, no. Sorry. That's just when he has a visit scheduled with us. He hasn't stated when he'll make a decision as far as I know but hopefully he won't make any decisions before we get him on campus.

Cool, thanks. No need to apologize, I just haven't been on here much in the last few weeks and wasn't sure if I missed something. I don't expect anything from him until March-April next year; kid's going to get plenty of attention and lots of pressure.

I emailed my source today, and he has not responded as of yet. It sometimes takes a few days to a week before I hear anything. Don't want to pester him because he has extremely valuable insight. Will keep you fanatics informed!

My source is extremely cautious as to say who we are with good standing with recruits who may make a comittment. I remember when I asked him about various recruits and possible transfers we might be after... (again this was roughly three months ago), he said watch closely with Dorian Finney-Smith. That coach Corn and Hoiberg really liked this kids game. That was the very same night he announced his intentions to transfer from Virginia Tech. He also said that Matt Thomas was a definate "solid in", stating it is just a matter of when he makes his pledge. Then during the same conversation said, "We are real high on Washington, and that Washington was excited about the possibility of being teammates with Niang." Washington also mentioned that he was impressed with the coaching staff. My source did mention that Iowa State was trying hard to reel in Jared Uthoff from Wisconsin. Yeah..that didn't happen. When asked about Terrance Samuel. He said, " initially Fred and coach Matt A. were hard after him, but that he wanted to stay on the east coast. When I asked about Vaughn. He said Fred was after him hard, but 50/50. I asked him about Abu bc he was a brand new recruit we were after at the time. He said, "yeah he is a solid player, but I don't believe we have much of a shot."

I would imagine if he is down to 6 schools and taking all his officials visits by the end of October he would want to make his decision before his senior year of basketball starts. I'm guessing his decision will be made sometime in November.
