And ragging on the program in every post whether it is football related or not is old and tiresome.

the more you get to know about Prohm the more excited I get. If you think anyone on this site is an ISU football front runner you don't understand the phrase. ISU fans are curiously loyal to a historically pathetic program.

I'm not expecting any surprises from the football team. I'm expecting a tremendous new hire in December. ISU had the opportunities to build on headline grabbing upsets and didn't capitalize on the field or with recruiting.

Umm...right. We didn't land guys like Lazard, Mike Warren, Jake Campos, Jauan Wesley, etc, etc et al.

FIFY. Being "reralistic" inculdes recognizing that things can improve, and all of the factors that led to a bad season. Just thinking that things are going to be bad again, solely because they have been for a couple of seasons, certainly isn't "realistic".

Back to Prohm, I like the hire. If I picked one guy who was my favorite out of the field, he was it, but I thought they all could be positive hires.
