They do it all the time at the Iowa Football game. Why do they come HERE to ISU if they don't want to be part of the school in everyway? Cheer for KU (or worse yet Iowa) when we are NOT playing them, but don't be an arse when we do play them!
Exactly right.. sometimes I see posts on here that make me wonder if the poster realized the irony being spouted. I thought the KU fans that I saw at the game, and I saw a few.. also the staff in the tunnel.. were decent and supportive of their team. Every team has people who go overboard and do stupid things. (Admittedly, those in that zone at the U of I seem to excel at it). I hear occasional things that ISU fans do that embarrass me, but all in all we have some great fans.
Oh .. and win or lose, what is it with those fans who walk up from the parquet to the concourse and stand watching the game? Finish the game at your seat, dang it. SO you have to wait an additional 15 mnutes in the parking lot.
