This should be quoted at the end of every closed thread, along with an 'end of the internet' image of some sort.

Most of UNIs rush yards (at least the bug runs) came off tackle against our DE/LB.
The spread is known for giving teams an advantage in running the ball. IRRC there were 4 teams from the Big 12 in the top-30 (KU, KSU, Baylor, and Ok St) and 6 in the top-50 in rushing.Iowa State was 112th in rushing defense and the did it in a conference where most schools run the spread.
Well, either that, or someone who knows at least a tiny little bit about football.Iowa State was 112th in rushing defense and the did it in a conference where most schools run the spread. The only people who think they didn't have a problem at DT are some in denial ISU fans.
Well, either that, or someone who knows at least a tiny little bit about football.
ISU's problems with stopping the run had to do with, in order:
A. Linebackers being out of position.
B. Linebackers being out of position.
C. Linebackers being out of position.
...and the other "top problems on defense" had to do with cornerback and undersized defensive ends.
Defensive tackle play may not have been ideal, but it was hardly "the main problem on defense".
So, please go back somewhere else, where you can happily pretend you have a clue what you're talking about..without being challenged.
Oh--and to pretend that there isn't talent already present at DT only underscores your ignorance...
Thanks, and have a Merry Christmas! Woo hoo!
