Kinnick north end zone renovation

The announcement was just the next phase in a process that has been going on long before isu did anything.

Which goes back to my original statement - the timing sucks.

The upgrades sound great and better yet the University can pay for it all themselves. I'll say it again - do you think that fans currently paying for premium seats are going to be happy paying more for what they see right now?

Everybody in Kinnick wants to be in the premium seats. It gives you opportunities to do something besides watching the boring product on the field. It will help combat the Iowa game day experience mantra of "Win or lose, we still snooze". Smart investment.

Why doesn't everyone purchase club seats in ames, is 1-6 more exciting?

What does sellouts have to do with people on a wait list for premium seating?
Iowa: the divorced dad with an empty 6 bedroom house. It only ever fills up for the Superbowl parties. Otherwise, he can only get his friends to come over for the unveiling of his new "state of the art" add-on.

Cool sunroom, bro.

Other way around. Iowa did a massive South End zone project and premium seating and little bro did a smaller scale version. Now big bro is doing another $89M to put further shame to little bro.

The waiting list in Iowa City is over 1,100 right now.
Maybe isu can sell all of their premium seats and have that long a wait list.

Let us know when that occurs.

Nice try

Barta said all current season ticket holders in the north end zone will be taken care of once a new structure is built there for the 2018 season. In addition, the university has a waiting list of more than 300 people desiring premium seats, and they also will be accommodated when the project is completed for the 2019 season.

There is a wait list today and it has been that way for a while. The additional premium seating will eliminate that wait list. For folks that want to move their current premium seats from where they are to the new north end zone would be able to do so with less cost not more.

Will you be able to sleep better tonight knowing Iowa as a wait list of only 300 while isu can't sell what they have?

Oh I didn't realize it was 3 years ago. So in the last 3 years 800 people have dropped off the list?

It appears so. Now can you tell me why isu can't sell all of their premium seating if the new end zone is so awesome?

I know how much of a stickler you are about answering questions.

Why did 800 people get off the list when Iowa has such a great coach running the show?

I'm assuming if ISU isn't selling all of their premium seating because we're not good right now but I couldn't tell you for sure
