What about jokes? I know that no where else in the country does that, but is that also a Des Moines metro thing or has that spread to other parts of the state?

Should be a RealFeel of 35 degrees. Every Halloween is crap weather.

I just looked it up. The average high temp. in Des Moines for Halloween is 60 degrees. The warmest was 86 degrees. I remember the majority of Halloweens as being pretty nice really. The only really crappy one I remember was 1991, we had a blizzard. We have had some nice night games in November too. Remember the November 11th game in 2005 against CU, it was 65 degrees and we had a tornado. Of course most of us remember Okie State in 2011, it wasn't to bad that November night.

Homecoming. Halloween. Night game. Should be a unique atmosphere.
I'm sure there's been games on Halloween in the past but I dont remember them well. Is the student section the only part of the stadium where people will wear costumes? Do you think the teletubbies make a return?

No Doubt. I am super excited to see this atmosphere. I encourage everyone to go in costume. Cardinal & Gold themed costumes are even better.

two years ago the game was the day before/after halloween (i don't remember) and my wife and i were about the only ones in a costume.

you'll see me on the jumbotron for sure. bet the house.
