This is where we should all be damn glad JP is steering the ship.
I think eventually the ESPNs of the world are going to feel like they’re losing viewers and money by being tied to a big costly bundle of channels. They’ll probably put their channels on their app and charge $20-30 a month with a discount if you bundle it with Disney+ and whatever else.
In honor of a potential move to the Big 10 I found this.

Damn Marquel Fleetwood (or whatever his Gopher ass name was) looked like Randall Cunningham that day!
fyi: That was a decent and exciting Iowa State team that finished (6-5).

That’s the year where the kicker (Shudak?) was suspended against Oklahoma and we had to go for two after touchdowns and go for it on 4th downs in field goal range. Left a bunch of points on the field and lost by 3.
Win that game and Walden probably takes the Cyclones to a bowl in year three.
'89 was the closest ISU came to beating OU in Ames between a 2-point loss in 1984 and snapping the home losing streak in '20.

no not even close. ISU went round robin with their league, NW didn't. To top it off, last years ISU team did everything Iowa has ever done to win a conference championship and then some. Most of Iowa's titles in the modern era, are co-champions and most of the time the school they tied it with IOWA DIDN'T EVEN PLAY THAT TEAM!!!! Oh, and Iowa has never won more than 9 games a season with a SOS in the top 20. ISU did that last year.
I was in the marching band that season. Blaise Bryant was a great Cyclone.
Oct 20th 1984 ISU lost the 1st night game in Ames 12-10 to #2 OU. I was at that game. ISU led most of the way until OU's QB broke off a long run late in the game.

Oh wow you are 100% correct, the big ten network is 100% on all youtube tv subscribers plan regardless of location in the US. Honestly thought it feel under regional sports channels

As bad as the 80s were...the 90s were very very bad in comparison record-wise.
