***Kansas NCAA ruling***

They won’t be allowed to score dead ball 3 pointers for one half of an exhibition game.
If Kansas blocks a ball after hitting the backboard it may be called goaltending for the first game of the season.

Can't carry the ball 5 steps starting around the three point line for lay ups.

For the first two possessions of the 2nd half, every non-conference game.

This kind of tells you all you need to know about the investigation - from Pat Forde:
In ruling on FBI-related infractions cases involving Arizona, LSU, Louisville and North Carolina State, the IARP set a precedent of not applying sanctions that banned any of those programs from postseason play. The only school that was caught up in the federal investigation and received a postseason ban was Oklahoma State in 2021, for seemingly lesser violations that some of the other schools had committed.

Punishments as follows:
1. Assistants have to sign a document stating they promise not to be naughty anymore
2. No kraft macaroni and cheese at the players only dorm for a whole week
3. Self has to do a press conference blaming everyone except anyone associated with ku

I expect KU fan reactions to be something like this regardless of the "punishment"

Does it mean anything for the immediate future? I could see any moderately significant ruling be inevitably appealed and then turned into essentially a nothingburger.
No appeal process available with IARP. The ruling is final.
