Kansas Gets It Done

What an embarrassment, KU. Getting your butt kicked up and down the court by your little brother. You have disgraced the conference again.

Wichita State tops Kansas to advance to Sweet 16.Kansas has 6 first-weekend losses as a Top-2 seed, most in NCAA Tournament history

Would be interesting to compare this as a percentage of teams as a top 2 seed. I'm sure they have had more top 2 seeds in general than a lot of other teams in tournament history, so having the most flameouts is probably not a huge deal. However if they fail harder than other top programs (UNC, Duke, Arizona, UK, etc.), would be something nice to rub their noses in :)

Anyone see the governor of kansas in the Shockers locker room? He put on a Whicita State "Kings of Kansas" t-shirt!

LOL!!!!

See I will give the Jayhawks credit, they know when to tuck the tail between their legs and shut their mouth. I still see lame *** Hawkeye fans on Facebook saying how they were some how a "better team" than us because they made it past round 1 into round 2.....

Here are ones that have been a Top 2 seed 5 or more times since 1985 and the percentage of times they have failed to make the Sweet Sixteen:

Where would Iowa State be on this list?

Are we doing the thing where we pretend wichita state is good again? Let's save that debate for March this year

Where would Iowa State be on this list?

Not there, obviously. Good effort for deflection.

However, it's interesting to note that of the teams that have held that spot 10 or more times, KU has done the least with it...despite all the talent they have (squander). The ONLY person wearing KU blue that I feel sorry for this weekend is Perry Ellis...he seems to be a good guy stuck with a bunch of fatheads.

Anyone see the governor of kansas in the Shockers locker room? He put on a Whicita State "Kings of Kansas" t-shirt!

LOL!!!!

No...but I DID see him when they showed him during the game, and when his face went up on the screen, I heard a lot of booing. Guy's not particularly politically savvy...KU fans outnumber WSU fans, and are probably wealthier on the whole, and he most likely ****** off a whooooooole lot of them with that t-shirt.
