Kane's Ankle

The way I see it if Kane does play he wont do as much shooting, and might not go for as many steals, but will continue to pass the ball as effectively as ever. If not, Monté Morris is a quality replacement and is due for a big game, and we can bring Edozie or SDW off the bench if needed. It's not like they are turnover machines or ball hogs or anything, and the playing time will be good for them.

We don't play again till Saturday. I don't think further injury is really the issue, but his effectiveness if not 100%. Even if limited, offensively he can still be effective to have Morris run the point and post Kane up and move Niang outside. Defensively is another question.

anyone else notice no ISU players have tweeted since Jan 11? I bet Fred told them not to.

I haven't noticed, but if I were a coach I would have a very short leash with allowing it. Yeah yeah, freedom of speech, etc, but sometimes I see posts that are just not helpful. I'm sure they have a pretty strong "this is internal info" talk, but it just really easy for stuff to leak..or for players to be baited into twitter conversations, etc.

Freedom of speech is irrelevant.

Kane's going to go for 24, 10 and 8 on a bad ankle and be the subject of "Magic" lore for years to come. You heard it here first.
