I feel bad for the OP - if I thought I had received somewhat reliable information on something like this, I would have posted it here too - just to get responses like CW's and Adam's that confirm it isn't true. The OP did ask if anyone else had heard anything about it and we got pretty solid evidence that it's not true.

Wouldn't you try to verify the information first? Wouldn't you want to be absolutely certain before you start peddling something as a fact, especially something that will get a lot of people riled up?

No sympathy here. For some reason, everyone has this need to share information as fast as they can, as if there's some prize or reward for being the first person in the know. The saying "think before you speak/type/tweet/whatever" comes to mind.

Theory on this...if DeAndre really was sick, I just find it hard to believe that he wouldn't have been hooked up to an ivy or something like that. With my own two eyes, I saw him in the hotel lobby smiling and taking photos with fans. I can't shoot it down for sure because I don't know. Just thinking out loud.
