This is important. Campbell has yet to start his second regular season and he's getting very high quality guys to commit. Sure, they're decommitting now but fewer will decommit over time if he starts turning it around. You have to win first to get the guys you want to stay committed.
It is always good when people research prospects and see our name listed among top programs that have these guys interest.
Honestly, I'm not surprised at any defections or even really bummed by them. I see a lot of good recruits committing and a lot of interest in Campbell's program. And as someone said, I'd take average now...6 wins in 2017 would be excellent in Campbell's second year!
Compare and contrast to the latter CPR classes where we'd have a 3-star or maybe a 4-star JUCO who HIGHLIGHTED the class vs. now talent basically from top to bottom. And by losing Kam it's not like we have to go find a handful of unscouted 2 stars like in the previous regime - CMC & Co. have options that aren't those mythical "diamonds in the rough".
