Luckily the internet lives on for much longer then any registry.

Kid and his garbage family deserve all ridicule that they will never be able to out run.
He won't get sh*t for opportunities at the college level, will end up working at a car wash and then probably get busted running a mobile meth lab.

Oh I won’t be there. Again this all just boils to down, you guys disagree with the legal system and think he’s life should be completely ruined for ever. I, for, one, believe in second chances particularly for people in their teenage years. Would you disown Cade if he was your child, send him to the streets and make him get his own lawyer??( honestly doubt it but you’re an internet tough guy so you’ll say yes)

Nope.

I disagree with you thinking that forcibly shoving something up someone's butt with their consent is ok.

Yep. Only a sick twisted little **** does what he did. Kid has repeat offender written all over him.

We’ve all done dumb stuff. But pinning down a teammate and shoving something up their ass is the thought process of a sociopath regardless of age.
The likelihood of repeated offense grows the more he escapes any real form of punishment/censure. In effect, he HAS gotten away with it given the fact that he is participating in wrestling (an extracurricular activity not required for graduation).

I'm the one that held my kid out of wrestling because of one D, even though his GPA was sufficient per the school. Once I heard from the teacher, I let him back in. Took him about 3 weeks to catch up on all the homework he had been skipping. So, no...I wouldn't disown him. But if the legal system didn't punish him you can damn well rest assured that I would.

Extracurriculars are a privilege, not a right. And people who sexually assault their classmates/teammates should NOT be participating.

Why not, Quinn?

Also, should I know who this person is?

Webster City radio sports director. The news guy is really good at promoting local stuff (businesses, organizations, events, etc....) Quinn won't fill those shoes he gets too wrapped up in winning the twitter wars instead of his job. He isn't terrible at calling sporting events though. He just needs to learn to stay out of the twitterverse.

He faced his consequences in court and served his punishment. Get over it. Apparently people can’t improve, per you.

Edit also per people who dumbed this. I hope you hold your children to such standards. Get into with the law? You’re on your own. You clearly don’t stand for criminals in your house
You're delusional at best. What this prick did has no coming back. I don't have kids but would hold my siblings, cousins, best friends and anyone else to the same standards.

Fortunately neither of my sons were raised in a manner in which they felt this would be acceptable. I guarantee if he were my son I wouldn't be in court fighting for something as trivial as his wrestling career.

If he was to vandalize a McDonald’s while in HS (totally hypothetical scenario to the rape sympathizer in here wink wink) I don’t think his life should be ruined. Shoving stuff up a classmates ass unwillingly, I’m okay with him having to hear about it for years to come.

There CAN be a coming back on a personal level. But currently, most of what is happening around him is simply telling him that he didn't do anything wrong, and therefore he doesn't NEED to "come back" from anything.
What he did is horrible; but he could potentially change his outlook and his treatment of others for the better. However, no one close to him is encouraging him to do that, so I don't hold out a lot of hope that he will grow up to be a better person.

Which is why I take such exception to the people on here making excuses for him and basically condoning what he did as a sort of "boys will be boys" on steroids.

That level of meathead isn't going to change. He'll be in his 20s and 30s and still trying to club stray puppies with a golf club. Sodomizing someone with a pencil doesn't fall into the "innocent misjudgement, deserves a 2nd chance" tier, he'll always be that guy.

Yep. No respectable program will touch this kid. The PR would be horrible plus all other team would use that so much in recruiting.

“Do you really want to be on a team that takes rapists let alone share a locker room with a dude that is known to rape his own teammates”. No school will touch this kid.

This kid and family deserve every bit of fallout that will follow them for years.
