K-State ticket availability

Are you having to show student ID to get in student section these days?

It depends when you get there, student section is way over sold though so it would be really inappropriate for anyone who isn't a student to take their hillside tickets into the student section. I know a good contingent of students bought hillside tickets after the regular student tickets sold out and they usually try to squeeze in, that's kind of acceptable, anything or anyone more than that makes it a mess.

They started a new thing this year where students get a stamp on their wrist (a black "CYCLONES") and they have to show it to one of the CSC security guys at the top of the stairs if they are going into the lower bowl of the student section.

This doesn't work at all because the people without stamps either sneak in with a group of people or will walk down off of the concourse outside of the section, and then walk over to the student section. All it does is inconveniences everyone and solves no problems.

Hillsides are listed as sold out on cyclones.com! Only the singles left, which they seem to be gradually releasing.

I count a little over 100 left; all singles except for Section 15.

Yeah, its varied. They seem to be gradually releasing some areas. 15 minutes ago that half row of seats in section 15 wasn't available, nor were a bunch of the singles in the lower deck sections.

Hillsides aren't oversold?

Bump.

Looks like they are selling more hillsides. Tickets | Iowa State Cyclones Football v. Kansas State - Ames IA at Ticketmaster

Two thoughts here. Most likely, they are expecting a bad turnout of hillside tickets because of the weather. Or, they maybe brought in extra bleachers on the sideline and will just let hillside ticket buyers have the first chance at these too? Which would open an extra 200-400 hillside "seats" by default.

Just thought I should bump this incase anyone was still looking for tix for Saturday.

Wonder if some seats are becoming available as "fair-weather fans" return tickets? And by "fair-weather fans," I'm both slamming young fans who are like the TCU folks who thought it was too cold last week to go to the game and recognizing that it makes sense for some of our fantastic older fans who shouldn't even consider being out in really bad weather.

I somehow doubt the ticket office would let anyone return tickets.

It doesnt seem that they have the hillsides available anymore, so must not have been many made available.
