K-State Pre-Game Thread

People like to brag about 5 straight wins over KU in 2000 and 2001 (and rightfully so), but we've now won 3 in a row over KSU and have an opportunity to make it 4 straight, and that would be very noteworthy as well.

That would be rather impressive, considering if we pull it off Saturday that would be two in a row in Bramlage. Pretty tough place to win with their style of play.

I like our chances Saturday - seems like the team has been playing better every single game and is starting to peak - last night was the exclamation point on that. Bubu playing has certainly seemed to help Korie from a rest perspective.

If Georges and Melvin can stay out of foul trouble (which may be tough, it is purple Kansas) then that will go a long way toward us getting the road W.

Would LOVE to see us drop them by 10-15.

The fouls have been piling up for Ejim and Niang lately. That has me a little concerned going into Bramlage. Hopefully our 3s are falling like they were last night to keep the pressure on K-State.

We are so big time now(puts sunglasses on, kicks off shoes and sips cup of coffee).

Iowa State 70, at Kansas State 68: The Cyclones are 6-3 in the Big 12 but only 1-3 in league road games. ISU played well in two of those losses, however. It was on its way to a win at Kansas before Ben McLemore banked in a 3-pointer with 1 second remaining to force overtime. And Marcus Smart's layup with 3 seconds remaining lifted Oklahoma State to a 78-76 win over the Cyclones in Stillwater.

lol, ranked team at home picked to lose by ESPN to unranked team.

This should be posted in the K-State hate thread too.
