JTS Improvements - Want More

So since the stalls are straight, does that mean every lane is two way? That might cause issues if they don’t put in one way signs.

Does anyone know the length of the parking stalls out to the red line? I’m trying to get an idea about how much space I’ll have behind my car.
From the front of the spot
18’ to the end of the yellow parking stall line
25’ to the red line

From the nose of your car to end of the yellow lines on the sides of your car is 17‘ 4” the width of your space is a standard 9’. From the end of your yellow lines to edge of the red access lane is 7’. The width of the access lane is 9’ 9”. These measurements from someone, to someone else, etc, etc. Accuracy not guaranteed.

Over, at least, the past decade, we arrive early to grab the ends of angled rows, where this is room for a 10’X10’ tent without creeping into the aisle or into walk way. Those do not exist With perpendicular parking.

The car space next to the new concrete islands is little wider than 9’.

There will be tenting on the grass, but the 100 year flood plain culverts, drainage ditches and detention pond (in the D row) have consumed flat areas.

No ****? My F150 SuperCrew with the short box is 19'4". I'd have imagined a much larger difference than 2'. I wouldn't consider a van exactly an oversized vehicle and the fact that you can't put a tent behind it without going up over the vehicle is going to get old fast.

I do still maintain this is going to ruin tailgating as we've come to know it. Being able to sit in the tent all day with beverages chatting with people is what it's all about. You used to be able to set up shop in the ditches. At least when I drove by a couple weeks ago that wasn't going to be happening due to them being dirt and having wicked slopes.

I honestly think it's all part of JP's long play...to slowly suck the life out of the tailgating scene (messing with parking lots, no room for tents, no ditch gatherings, etc) with the thought he can drive more game day business toward CyTown.

So I have a short bus for tailgating, which concerns me, but since my lot is on the west side (A3), this season should be no different than previous years, right??

Not everyone can arrive 5 hours before games. Common courtesy to allow others to enter parking.

This would be my 21st season with my tailgating bus, but I might have to park at Brookside Park this year. Probably not going to be worth it so JP please stop saying you are increasing parking.

Also, JP please review your comments over your career about how "everyone wants what we have". Why are we changing it?

How are you going to make a 10' tent fit in a 9' wide space?
Oops, didn't realize spaces were only 9' wide damn.

This is going to upset some longtime tailgaters who don't have friends who tailgate next to them...if two groups of tailgates are together, they might be able to make something work. Discouraging after all these years.
