Just guessing here, but I could see them putting some pavers where that dirt currently is. Seems unlikely to me that it will always just be dirt.

If it were me, I'd be putting in very rough pavers (like you might see near rapid transit railways) to discourage taking that first step to walk across the grass. I know it won't deter everyone, but given its proximity that'd be a logical choice.
I did not expect to pull up the webcam this morning, and find the plaza being used as a parking lot.

I couldn't make out any of the names on the video board of who was attending.
Also the video board looks horrible. I noticed it last year, looks like they spot repaired panels on it and there are a lot of areas and its very noticeable, not in a good way.

The first name on the video board when they pulled up at 08:51:30 was Neil Pryor. President, PepsiCo Beverages North America, Central Division at PepsiCo.
Starting to paint the end zone, which could be an issue since there is a chance for sever weather.

I see one lone Bobcat on the west side of the plaza in front of the SPC. Is everything finished, including the remodel of the Jake? (as an aside, it really is a glorious transformation)
