JTS construction webcam?

Didn't somebody say they were going to try to install the scoreboard by the end of this month? They mean the actual scoreboard or just the supporting structure for it? Cause the latter looks to be coming along nicely.
I believe the scoreboard structure is already up, according to a JP tweet. It's the 6 verticle columns.

I don't understand why they'd put the scoreboard would go up so soon while there's so much work around it left to do. It could easily get damaged.

They're still adding metal to it. But to answer your question--because it will be a lot easier now rather than later. They can bring in a crane and get right next to it whereas a few months from now they'll have to lift it over a lot bigger distances.

Something took some bites outta the green wall today . . .

And then put them back in - interesting.

3rd crane on site. More pilings out front?

Just amazing how fast these guys are (and what money can do). New building going up where I work. 1/10 the project, started (in earnest) about 5 months earlier. About the same progress as the club structure at JTS.

The ISU Daily took this photo.

Looks like 2 cranes in place in the spot where they would raise the scoreboard. Anyone know if that is at the site?

They don't raise the scoreboard as a whole, do they? I recall the timelapse of the north scoreboard being panels.

I would say yes, that the main structural "backing" of the scoreboard looks to be there. I was wondering if the digital side of it was in the parking lot, and ready to be hoisted up.

As i remember, when they did the NEZ board they hoisted the main structure but then the scoreboard electronics came up in panel sections.
