i am afraid most of you will be let down.

it's his job to build anticipation for cyclone sports. it's the like the toyota marking dept telling you about the GREATEST SALE EVER. meh.
 
It's not Vaughn unless he already signed but the signing period has ended 5 days ago, I don't think the university could announce Vaughn has committed to Iowa State without signing...
 
I would be shocked if this is the SEZ announcement. JP has said before that's a bigger project than simply the stadium, and even if a donor were ready to go I'm guessing the plans for the "gateway" aren't nearly complete.

Vaughan, maybe. I suppose he could have been so taken with his Michigan gameday experience (plus the BYU win) that he just ended everything and signed.

Maybe we gave Fred another raise/extension.

Fred is now the Dictator of Ames and has Droit du seigneur rights within city limits.

It's either new soccer coach or, after a ****** season, he knows he needs to find a new way to bring fans in, and we will have an SEZ next year.
