I laugh as much about the Fran-con scale as any Cyclone, but I do find it funny that most of us think that Fran's antics hurt his team while Fennelly is just getting the most out of his players when there isn't a huge difference between their style.

I think that thug transfer was holding them back in his starring role the past two years.

Their foundation couldn't be stronger with high character high school kids who excel in the classroom. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a big run this year considering talent is only part of what wins you games.

it takes a special kind of stupid to point this out (Iowa state not making the final 4) when Iowa was in line to be the first number one seed at the end of January. They bombed so much they got a 7 seed, playing ****** competition that last month.

Iowa State being able to go further in the tourney if they had Naz has nothing to do with Iowa's play late in the season.
