Mr. Embid is a scared and confused young man. He knows his professional basketball career looks like to be in the crapper, so he is saying anything to make himself feel better. Any smart basketball fan knows Kansas will not get past Kentucky to reach the final 4. The mindset of any good team is to get to the final 4 then move on to win the national championship once you get there. You can bet once I create my twitter account, I am going to go after him hard when Kansas loses before the final 4. If that disgusting post stays up after Kansas loses, Mr. Embid may regret having his twitter account stay open. As of today, we still own the Rock Chalk Nation.
If you're gonna take all the praise and adulation when you win, you'd better be able to Man Up and take the abuse from your enemies when you lose.
We just have to man up and take it. We enjoyed the highs and now we have to ride the lows. All credit goes out to UAB and how hard they fought, rebounded and played defensively. I am not a Cub fan but in honor of them, wait till next year.
Yup, deal with it. It's deserved. ISU went out there, tried to lay and egg, but **** their pants instead and stunk up the floor. Credit to UAB though, they came to play and wiped the floor clean with us.

I think Embiid is a closet Cyclone fan, asking our fanbase to inundate his twitter account with all things cyclones to make him feel included.
Apparently he doesn't remember losing to Stanford last year. He could've played, but chose to screw his own team over for money.
I hate that we have to take this stuff and I hate hearing it but after the enormous amount of **** I have talked for the last 4 years in both sports and particularly last weekend when I told every other fan I know how awesome it was to have two trophies, I have everything coming.

I'm a KU fan, but I like ISU. I think Hoiberg is an excellent coach and I like your teams and have always had good times with ISU fans. I pull for you guys when you aren't playing KU.
That being said, you guys didn't seem to have any problems with Niang taking shots at KU, or other ISU players who've done it in the past. If you want to dish it out you've got to take it too. Embiid also took a lot of flack from ISU fans last year when we lost to Stanford, which was odd considering he was injured and couldn't play.
BTW, sorry for your loss yesterday. You guys had a good team this year. These types of losses happen. You play a team that was probably underseeded, played with nothing to lose, and they hack the crap out of you because refs don't call fouls the first weekend of the tourney. You'll have a good team next year, I'm looking forward to more great games between us.

What shots did Niang take at Kansas? Don't get me wrong, it wouldn't surprise me. He has certainly trolled the hell out of Iowa. Just don't remember anything.
I don't give a **** if Embiid trolls us. It does make me laugh that KU fans swear up and down there is no rivalry, yet there was endless butthurt about ISU fans taking over KC, and now an ex KU player is trolling ISU after a bad loss.
Time for a thicker skin, folks. Part of being a top tier team is being bashed and made fun of over every loss, every player screw up. With more positive attention comes the impending negative attention. And for the record, Joel Embiid is the King of Twitter. Just goes to show you that ISU is even on a former KU player's radar. He didn't make any twitter jokes about Baylor losing, did he?
