Jerome Tang's sideline antics are just as annoying as Bruce Weber's.

Yeah, k state will be interesting....people say they don't play d, not so sure about that....they aren't elite defensively, but they aren't that bad, they just play fast...they got two huge road wins anyway. Can't take that away from them,
who is taking their wins away? their road wins are better than any other in the league. but giving up 100+ to Texas and 90+ to Baylor...it's not wrong to say they aren't really focused on defense.

Texas gonna offer this guy a huge payday?
I think Texas is much more likely to throw a bag at a Bruce Pearl/Kelvin Sampson type than a guy who has been a head coach for all of one year.

Baylor is just horrible defensively right now.
KSU isn’t much better on that end but they have two guys playing out of their mind on offense

The Big12 traffic jam on KenPom as of this AM. Adjusted defensive efficiency - calculated/estimated points allowed per 100 possessions against an average team. This is full season, not just conference, but it looks like the outlier for K-State is more a victim of tempo than terrible defense. We’ll know a lot more after a few more weeks (from all teams) against good competition.

ISU, KSU, and KU atop of the conference. Did he turn down other jobs before this one? Seems weird with the success Baylor has had that someone like a North Texas didn't offer him.
You haven't watched K-State much because every broadcast including last night (King McClure) they talk about Tang turning down other opportunities waiting for the right one.

It's still early in conference play. K-State could easily have lost to WVU (down 17-3 at the start) and Baylor (missed final shot).

Yep, but so are we. I like both of our trajectories a lot. Difference is, I think Otz has strong roots to Ames and will hopefully stay. Tang isn’t as rooted in Manhattan.
TJ has made it clear multiple times that this is his dream job, and his family's dream location. He'll be here as long as ISU wants him.
