IMO he played his best game at ISU on Saturday. If he'd played like that the last two years, we'd have a few more wins for sure. Don't know that he's an NFL player, but he'll get in a camp and have a chance to prove himself.

Anybody else see him shoot the T-shirt gun towards the end of the game? I got a kick out of it as you can see he was having a great time.

Just like Shontrelle Johnsons little dance after his TD, it was good to see the guys have fun and enjoy their night!

I wasn't even mad about the flag on Shontrelle's dance. Not one bit :laugh:

Jesse Smith never got a shot at the pros and he led the Big 12 in tackles also. Some guys are just not cut out for the NFL, no matter how well they do in college. Jeremiah is one of those guys. Not a big deal. He can always look back and say that he was one of the best linebackers in the Big 12 in 2013.

I have no doubt Jesse would have been on a team if he had the speed of Jeremiah.

Also don't discount the fact that there are two LB's from last year's ISU team on NFL squads now. Past success tends to give borderline kids from the same program the benefit of the doubt - see Offensive Linemen, University of Iowa.
