Jayden Nunn Decommits

Is this a shtick you have that I'm missing?
Dude, don’t accuse me of having a shtick. I appreciate what you’re trying to do but you make otherwise good threads unbearable at times. I’m entitled to having an opinion, just like you.

So... Hunter, Kalscheur, Grill, Lipsey > Nunn?
I would rather have all 3 of them than Nunn. Hard to know for sure though. Nunn looked like another Jakolby-Long, Backwell, Dubar level of player to me. Could maybe a solid contributor on a P6 team in a couple years. Kalscheur and Grill will be contributors now, and Hunter is a no brainer.

Nunn is a wait and see. His highlight tape got me excited. However, he could have been way out of his league or he could have been covid underated. Just not enough eyes on him in the last year. Then again when TJ passed on him after seeing his teammate on a regular basis, it made me think he isn't as good as what I thought.

Never like to see this, but given that TJ recruited his teammate, I'm assuming that TJ was familiar enough with him that he would have prioritized contact with him had he wanted him.

Not saying this is the case, but possibly recruiting another player on that team might have given him some insight that isn't/wasn't available to everyone else?

To me, TJ seems to come off very well with the athletes he recruits and the coaches and families he encounters along the way. It's possible he made an error in judgement, it's also possible that he, as the new HC, knew exactly what he was doing...
