I was at the table next to him and the staff at Provisions yesterday. I’d like to think my presence played an important role.
Was he a legit 6'7"?

Also wondering this. He looked more 6’5” in his videos.
Frosh highlights, like his passing ability and size.
I said "may" and I've never met TH to agree or disagree on what he likes or wants. I suspect most here haven't either. If he's given a 1st round grade then the writing may be on the wall. It's possible to lose both, I don't anticipate losing Haliburton anytime soon though... Seems like the type of kid who loves college and isn't worried about the NBA. He didn't even enter his name this year when it would have been beneficial to him.
looks like a guy with some talent to build on. I like the pickup.Pretty impressive for a freshman. I was really impressed by a couple of those finishes and also how he seemed to be playing at a very controlled pace. Doesn’t seem super athletic but he’s seem like he has long arms and big hands (that putback dunk). Big hands are actually a really good predictor of success in the NBA so I assume that transfers to lower levels. Hopefully him and Bolton hit it off and build their games together next year!
A little harsh. I thought it was solid
Welcome to CycloNATiON Javon.
After watching his highlight I am feeling a bit of Nader vibes with Johnson, guy who has out grown out of that level. Big long guard who can shoot from 3 or Talley with a jump shot, I can see why Prohm/Kane prioritized him for his system. The NBA potential quote Goodman provided is reassuring, especially since he gets a year to work on adding some strength and improving his game under the staff.
Dooley was also shooting under 40% from 2 and under 30% from 3 both his years at NIU so he had to improve in that area. By the way, that 40% of points was 10 (Fresh) and 13 (Soph) a game (with 4 and 5 1/2 reb respectively).Boy I hope you are right. It's tough to compare a 10 & 4 track record to a guy that was averaging, what, 40%+ of NIUs points. Don't get me wrong, super happy to have him, but the Nader comparison feels a bit off. Besides, I'm not seeing the physicality that Nader had, even prior to coming to ISU. He may have the measurables to grow into that playstyle in an offseason, though, so here's hoping he gets there.
You overthought it.Aside from the bad advice, I guess I'm too old for high school humor.
