I know a lot of people didn't like them, but I did.

I think it'd be really cool if we broke out these Jack Trice retro uniforms for the season opener to christen the newly bowled in stadium and honor its namesake.

I would love to see it . . . but with gold rather than white numbers.

I loved them. I wouldn't even mind seeing them as our regular uniforms. I hope they bring them back for at least one game this year.

I think JT "inspired" would be good. Incorporate the stripes, but put a modern take on it too. Didn't someone photoshop something like that back then?

The different color and size numbers on front/back were rough.

They are the coolest throwback uniforms I've ever seen. I say make it a once a year tradition but don't have any other gimmicks. They aren't radically different than our core identity so there's not some huge branding issue.

Yeah, I think they are better than our current uniforms myself (not that that is saying much). Would look better without numbers or names, but rules are rules I guess.

I'll be honest, I didn't really like them. Like someone else said, maybe include a more modern edge to them and we can see once, but I didn't particularly like them as they were.

I didn't mind the ketchup and mustard jerseys that Sage and Seneca wore. Now the Chiefs uniforms we wore that one year in 2003 were pretty bad. Luckily we made the pants red the next year and it looked great.

I liked the red on gold we wore against West Virginia, and the Jack Trice throwbacks were awesome! I still say the best throwbacks were the 2007 Iowa Field Goal Game.

My least favorite jersey combination was the red jersey, gold pants during Chizik's first year. Just brutal....
