It could have been worse

I was expecting a lot worse game. People who seriously thought we had a chance, need to put down whatever they are smoking.

They showed some fight in the second half, and that's important when your down 35-7. If the offense had managed to do anything in the first half this could've been a different game. Sadly, they could not.

Iowa State will (probably) lose to OU. I think they have a real shot against everyone else. A win at OSU would change a lot.

If I had to complain about 1 thing from tonight, it is that we have to be the worst tackling team in the country. Im not sure how many tackles we missed tonight.

Oh please it's your job to sugar
Coat everything chris

No sugar needed. Only thing that may work for some of you guys is a lobotomy. The way many you melt down regardless of who we are playing boggles my mind.

So, you expected to win this? There is improvement taking place.
I understand that the team is improving but seriously there is too many problems to fix. I can only see maybe 2 wins left, if we play well

When you get humiliated by division 2 teams and stomped on by the big 12 can your really blame people for getting upset. We have the same problems every year and they can't fix them.

Agreed. I feel good about the defense. They are getting faster and better. Lazard is legit. Montgomery looked good, not sure why he doesn't see more.

The bad. Offense???? WTF? Not sure why a burnt redshirt. Wimberly can run, and has power. Ive seen him run people over. So what the heck is going on there? Weak sauce and again it seem Wally is getting something from the D, and the offense sucks something awful. There are games to be won with this team. Excited for the future with these guys.

Did. Not. Read.

"Could have been a lot worse"?

What a bull **** headline. We had our chances in this game, and the lead up to this thread is as defeatist as one can get.

I'm not gonna lie. Seeing their kicker miss their 5th field goal in a row made me smile. Not because of the kid, but just to know that it might be gnawing at the back of Art Briles' head that, if they are ever in a close game, a short field goal might not be a given.

We were down 35-7 at half. I know we played much better in the 2nd half but that's partially due to the fact that Baylor stopped playing as hard. I would also like to point out that Baylor ran 97 (!!!) offensive plays in contrast to our 73.

I will say I thought the team showed great resolve in the second half just by having an opportunity to cut it to a 2 possession game. Last year 35-7 became 70-7. I ******* hate moral victories but this team has heart.
