Mowins is way better. She was terrible. Sorry. Half the time she wouldn’t even do a play by play, she would just yell YES then eventually get to the play. Weedon was terrible too. Tons of sputtering, but at least his terribleness was muted by his low volume and monotone.
Sorry, the play by play was simply bad. I would not consider my wife to be sexist, and she said that announcer is the worst she’s ever heard.
The official never said he stepped OB. He ruled his knee went down in bounds because that’s what happened. That’s why he called him down and wound the clock. Spot was probably short and should have called for a measurement.
The official who marked it and wound the clock was the hind judge. He was, as his name implies, behind the play and only saw Purdys knee go down. He marked it at the 41 (about where his knee tapped) and wound the clock. Even knowing that Purdy was lunging forward. A different ref then decided to mark it at the 40, so Brock from his knee to the farthest point he can stretch to is three feet. Have someone measure you from your knee to your wrists with them above your head. Does three feet seem normal?
I have watched the Sacramento Kings a couple times this year to see Haliburton. They have Kayte Christensen as a commentator this year and she has been fantastic every game I watched.
My favorite was when she got disappointed on a WVU incompletion, then comes in a flag for PI and we get the "YESSS!!!"

Hopefully, Bowlsby doesn’t just sign the dotted line when ESPN offers the next Big 12 contract that has all games on ESPN+. But Bowlsby is known for being an idiot.
I think Jessica Mendoza is really good for MLB. Really knows her stuff and has good delivery.
