THIS IS NOT A TALENT ISSUE. We have out recruited UNI and Kent State for the past 4 years. No one besides Mckenzie transfered. This is still a poorly coached team, with players who have developed bad tendancies and just wern't taught to win. I can't imagine believing that UNI has more talent then us...

Interesting that last year it was a coaching thing, and the guy ended up paying with his job. And now that we have the coach who can't do any wrong, this year it's a talent thing.

I think the equation is:

bad talent + old coach = bad coach

and

bad talent + new coach with hope = bad talent

this is a talent issue.

You know, I totally agree. But what totally ^#*$(@ me off is how can our talent level be so pathetic? We should be able to equal the Kent State's and UNIs of the world in talent without even trying. We should be able to do that by making phone calls only as our recruiting effort. We're in the freakin' Big 12 for cripe's sake.

It is more than likely going to take 3 to 4 years to even come close to crawling out of this hole.
