I agree. There are still a lot of games left but its these games against the bottom 1/4 of the league that we need to win to make the postseason. Although after watching the team tonight...that seems like a long, long, long shot.

so to be a 'great fanbase' you have to sugarcoat **** poor basketball? I call ********. It is what it is, and it sucks.
If judging by tonight's game it seems to me that Buckley would do better than DG against Kansas.
please stop talking about the postseason it makes you look foolish, we will be lucky to win 1-2 more games in conference...
Wow... it was there for the taken. I think we play that game over again right now and we win. Not sure why it takes desperation for us to pick up our games, for Mac to use timeouts, for Mac to change up the strategy. Did anyone notice Knight taking timeouts after 1 good ISU possession? Wow. I wonder who taught him to coach?!
I hate to sound so negative, but I see all these gaps as coach-able. It appears these shortcoming are so obvious and I think the players want to win. So why the practices just don't work on closing these very basic fundamental gaps along with stressing max effort is beyond me.
I already think the shooting ability and athleticism is there. Just need to work on the basics in practice and rely on their ability and already developed shooting touch the rest of the year.
With that said, we lost to TX by 7, beat NU and the road, and was in position with 3 minutes to win on the road again. I will give the team a pass to this point and hope they can regroup and beat KU.
(kind of funny the game thread was over 700 posts while the no negativity game thread was a little over 50... I think the message is clear on where the fan base is right now = frustrated)

No, but you have to support your team. I see most people supporting themselves and their "right" to whine. If one thing goes wrong, half these "fans" meltdown about it and go into panic mode. That's pathetic.
We have to find a way to get Brackins the ball in the post. I mean, there's got to be some type of play or set of screens that will free him up. He's not even going to approach 20 points if he keeps relying on jumpers.

Rick, the women's game thread is in another forum.
They've got to get CB moving before the double team gets there, he's content to wait for it to come and I think it's taking him out of the game completely. I'll take a few forced shots if it gets him back for the rest of the game, we can take a few missed layups from the guards.
This team is so close. Player were asked to do things they were not going yesterday. They have issues to work out. They still have a shot, just have to put it together.
