ISU vs Iowa prediction..

Hurkee's by 2 tds. First game we played for one quarter, second we played for two and this we play for three but ultimately give up late tds. Next game we play for all four quarters and only lose by a billion.

I had inception style dream within a dream going on last night. In my actual dream, I was dreaming that ISU won 31-3 and then I woke up and watched the game which we proceeded to win 31-3, and then I actually woke up. Weird. So I'm going with it for no logical reason. 31-3 clones! haha

Clones 24
EIU 21

I correctly called the Punt return for a TD last game, and I'll go out on a limb and say we have a fumble recovery for a TD tomorrow. Let's Go STATE

Trailing 27-24 with time winding down, Nealy takes a handoff into the clear down the left sideline, with no defenders to oppose him. At the Iowa 5 yard line, a rift in space-time opens and Nealy is spirited away from the ethereal plane. Officials review the play and determine that Nealy was attacked by the ghost of Hayden Fry, which constitutes an extension of the Kinnick playing surface and therefore the runner is down by contact. Time expires and the Cyclones lose.

Meanwhile, in another time and place, the participles that once formed Devondrick Nealy become reconstituted, but now he was must exist only as a wraith who can bodyslide to different times and places with the express purpose of destroying ISU. His first mission is to compel Woody Hayes to punch a Clemson player, thus ensuring that Earle Bruce is hired away from Ames.

The Cyclones therefore become entangled in a time loop that ensures that the worst must always happen for ISU at exactly the wrong time.

Also, KF goes through 3 packs of gum.

EIU 21 ISU 31. We scored 28 on K State, a top 20 program. I see us one FG better this week. EIU has had trouble running the ball this year, even though that is their first and second preferred offense. They had to abandon the run to score twice in the 4th qt last week to squeak out a win.

ISU shows continued improvement on defense and offense plays better but it is hard to tell it is better than k state game as it is a road rivalry game. But ISU leaves with the win.

The subpar defense from the Cyclones gives the Hawks a chance to finally start to get their confidence rolling on offense. Both running the football and through the air. With or without Scherff I actually believe the Hawks will cover the spread this week.

Iowa 35
ISU 17

*Breakout player prediction.... Everyone is going to have their eyes on Allen Lazard because of his hype coming out of H.S., but Derrick Willies steals the show.

It'll be NDSU part 2

I get that you're playing the role of realistic, level-headed fan, but I don't get the point of making a 'prediction' like this. It's effing rivalry week. Either our team showed great improvement to week 2, or K State is just worse than NDSU (& Iowa..).

You're on a CYCLONE fanatic website. You get no points or *coupons* for making a prediction that ends up correct. If you don't think your favorite team has enough of a shot to beat the damn hawkeyes to predict it on a message board, I don't understand why you feel the need to predict they'll get owned.

But to each their own, I guess.

Some of you "fans" are going to be in trouble with Tailg8er for your "idiotic" predictions that a 2-0 Iowa team beats us at their place. The nerve!

LOL. Someone is upset. Realistically, Iowa 28 ISU 17. Win the turnovers, ISU 27 Iowa 24. I just don't think our defense can get it done.

Theres a difference between predicting Iowa to win and Iowa to blow us out. One is being negative to make yourself feel better and be able to say I told you so. The other is intelligently predicting the game.
