Defense is playing VERY well. Craig came out of the slump a little, but Gilstrap is nowhere to be found. Still up 19. That's encouraging.
Pretty sure Dolph's broadcasting idol is Ron Santo.

I really think Gilstrap comes out with a vengeance in the 2nd half. They are going to have to try and squeeze the shooters, which is going to open it up for our inside guys. Will they come out of their zone??
Half time thoughts:
-I can't believe that ball movement
-It would not surprise me to see Scott start over Lucca at SG. They are both very capable shooters but Scott is much faster with the ball in his hands. Allows the team to run more.
-Very strong man to man defense so far
-Notorious JVB is playing out of his mind for being out of game shape and coming off a foot injury. This is the best game I've ever seen him play.
-Ball movement....yes please
-CB still has 11(?) points and a half dozen rebounds or so, even though Drake's whole plan was to shut him down

It may sound like it. Walters often does a good job of remaining fairly neutral in his play-by-play. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he sounded a little more enthused by Drake because of said neutrality, and also given the fact that they're still a local team.
Historically, not so much. They have owned us with zone. Not so much today, but I dont see them giving it up.
