Copying Jim Criner era unis may not be best decision

Most likely a majority of our fan base, and for sure current players/recruits, would have no idea that tornado logo has anything to do with an era of football where we were a complete joke of a football program. It's my favorite logo we have, hopefully it gets brought back into our "logo arsenal" soon.

I see the photos just fine. I like integrating the Jack Trice throwback stripes into the shoulders. Wonder how it would look with those same stripes on the hips of the pants as well?

I'm seemingly in the minority, but I really don't like the metallic gold. It feels like we're trying too hard and feels cheap and chintzy to me. BC, ND, BU can all keep their gold helmets/pants (among others).

Other than that, I didn't see any photos I didn't like. Great work with the designs and photoshopping.

The subtle "Trice Stripe" Cardinal and Gold option that has been floating around recently is awesome...simple, and not a far departure from what we have. Should be done ASAP.

-True Gold Helmet w/I-State logo
-Cardinal Jersey w/Gold text/numbers and subtle 'Trice Stripes' on the shoulders
-True Gold pants w/subtle Cardinal 'Trice Stripes' and add a small logo patch on one pocket area.

I'm wondering if it is somehow hard to find the more reddish-hue gold over the blue-green hue that everyone else uses.

As an aside, has anyone noticed the ESPN season preview commercial (with Urban Meyer)? They are using the Walking Cy logo.

I actually like the current logo.

If we're going to add a second helmet I'd prefer it be gold just because it's an actual school color, even though the white mock-ups I've seen make the logo pop.

I'd like to see us keep mostly the current uniform scheme, except maybe replace the shoulder piping with something more modern on the sleeve (like in some of the pics above) and add the cardinal pants back into the mix. Not a huge fan of the gold jerseys but maybe they'd look better with gold helmets and it is an actual school color, so... With two shells, three jerseys and three colors of pants you'd have 18 possible uniform combinations.

I think the gold jerseys would look better in a night game.

Maybe it's just that picture of Lazard but I don't think they look that ugly.

Anything but those god-awful all yellow uni's. they're hideous what scares me is that I'm seeing marketing stuff for 2015 with those yellow get-ups

I'll try one more pic, then hold off 'till tomorrow. It seems some are seeing my pics (maybe, I hope?), and some aren't (and they aren't really my pics, but the work of others here. I'm just trying to put alot of them in one consolidated place).

I still need people to post and tell me they ARE seeing these pics. Anybody, or is no one getting these?

Here ya go. These are nice...Be nicer yet w/ White accent stripe helmets, pant, and sleeve, in the cardinal and gold pics, IMO. Many combinations to be had here.

Still a fan (maybe the only one) of that GMG helmet (matte finish) w/ IState logo.

Is that really that different than Red helmet, white jersey, and gold pants that we wore last year against Texas? I disagree with all or nothing on the gold. The white pants would tone down the loudness of the gold jersey.

You are closer- match the pants and helmet like in this photo. On the jersey- instead of the swirl, use the Trice stripes as the ghost striping on the front of the home and away jersey. Then- TV numbers or logo can also be used on the side of the jersey. This is a great look IMO
