ISU STARTING QUARTERBACK

anyone else think it sounds fishy? i mean if tiller was ineligible why didnt CPR come out and say it. i trust that he was not eligible to play but why wait this long to announce it.

Tiller became ineligible in the last two weeks. Summer classes are what he depended on, probably something you should know, being an ISU student.

Rhoads doesn't need nor should tell us everything. I'm guessing they were waiting on appeals. No need to bury the guys name if they weren't for sure yet.

I do find it interesting that after spring I had two starting recievers tell me that the likely starter would be either Jantz or Barnett. Here we are 4 months later and they were spot on. To me it sounds like Jantz and Barnett were just better than Tiller.

I think that regardless of academics, Tiller still would have been passed by Jantz, maybe Barnett.

Regardless, watching that Paul Rhoads interview... I can't help but have a man crush on him. So glad that he is our coach.

I think Tiller is really going to be the starter, this is all just a trick to keep the real starter a secret until gameday.
