Yeah that's how I am too. Very curious to see what the O/U is on this. I really think ISU will win something like 49-17
Against an FCS school. Have to come to play, but we should win this (and have to win this).
For sure...point is they're someone that a team like ISU can't just show up against. I'm repeating and repeating but the culture change is defined by weeks like this.
Arkansas Pine Bluff is one of the worst FCS programs. They've won 9 games in the last 4 years.
Side rant, these are the type of FCS teams ISU needs to be playing. Not FCS powers of UNI, NDSU and SDSU
It would be great to have a big win on the road, and I think the Cyclones should win by 20+. Still, A 30-14 win sounds about right. Frankly, a 21-20 win still is a win. We will learn a lot about this team and this staff this week.
It'd help, too, if ISU could schedule "worse" for the non-Iowa FBS opponent, too, at home, vs. C-USA/Sun Belt bottom-feeders. It's probably not possible to drop these 2-for-1 contracts entirely, just move in an easier direction until we establish consistent bowl appearances.
I doubt UNI game will be dropped completely, likely to continue on every-other-year basis, but that off-year FCS should be as cake-y as possible.
Would really like to see ISU soundly dominate this game. The Cyclones should have an undoubted advantage at the skill positions and on the lines.
Should approach a 17- to 21-point win, something between 37-20 and 45-24. Close in first half, gradually pull away. Underwhelming, but take care of business.

You have to be encouraged with our DL, but wow, the rest of the D is extremely suspect. Too bad we couldn't have Klein and Knott behind those guys up front. I'm so tired of watching our linebacker play.
