According to ESPN, Petey had 1 and Wesley had 1 (if you count him as a guard).
I didn't see Petey's. Sorry. But no, I don't count Wes as a guard. I was more talking our PG's

We've already got more wins than the 01-02 team so it won't be the worst team. Definitely not very good though.I'm not saying this just because, but....
Rahshon deserves a lot better than he witnessed during his four years here. To stick around like he did, and to do everything asked of him, it's a shame that his career is going to end on one of the worst ISU teams in years.
If you are a guard, and one, your team is not a good perimeter shooting team, two, your team does not create opportunities off the dribble, and three, your team is not consistent at posting up, your chances of putting up assists may be a challenge at times.
Room for improvement all around! Go Cyclones!
I agree. They need to figure out some other offense than "throw the ball inside" because that's not working. I know people are going to say I'm just saying this because of my relationship, but I honestly believe they need to work Rahshon (and Wes too) into the offense more. They need to create movement to have Rah and Wes moving towards the basket where they can score or at least get fouled. Rahshon is the best FT shooter on the team and Wes behind him. We don't get to the line enough. I think part of the offensive problem is that we only look for 2, sometimes 3 people to score, and the defense knows that. Then they double down on those people and instead of them passing it out, they throw up some horrible shot. I don't know if it's selfishness or just plain bad basketball IQ, but if there are two/three people on you, one/two of your teammates is open. Sorry...Just had to rant. I'm getting really tired of watching these games.
That is very true, but I find it weird that Rahshon has 2 while Petey only 1 and DG none. If he can get them the ball than they should be able to too, especially when they handle the ball a lot more than Rahshon does.
I'm not blaming CB for the loss. I'm just baffled as to how someone can not attempt a pump fake in the post for an entire season.
I am sorry, but I don't by the "we have a young team" excuse anymore. Look at what Purdue is doing and they start 4 freshman. I know people will say they are in the big 10, but still, wins over Wissy and Mich St. are impressive. The difference between their freshman and ours? Theirs learn from their mistakes, where Brackins takes the same poor 3 point shot AT LEAST once a game...
Reid Gettys doesn't know as much as he thinks he does, (that would make him smarter than Einstien) but he said some things last night that are very true. (1) Brakins shys away from contact. He need to get aggressive. (2) Lucca Staiger is an exceptional 3 pt shooter.
(3) McDermott has done an outstanding job of coaching considering the adversity this team has endured. All coments paraphrased. One play in the second half, Garrett drives past his man, lays it in, and gets fouled, makes the free throw. Hubalek is wide open,10 ft from the basket, and Garrett ignores him. Gettys says, "He should have dropped the ball off to Hubalek. He (Garrett) will hear about that from McDermott." I just added this comment to show you that Gettys doesn't know as much as he thinks he does.
Anyone know why there were so many empty seats at the Oklahoma game last night? That placed was dead in the first half. Couldn't believe it.
