Just another bump in the road. We desperately need to beat Nebraska this weekend. Last season we started conference strong, had a rough stretch in the middle and finished halfway decent. I'm hoping for a similar outcome this year but that might be a stretch.
If we lose to NU this weekend, we won't win another game. I am ratcheting down my expectations for next year. Garrett continues to get better, but Craig has regressed to the point where I would start AT over him right now.
I'm not making any excuses, but we are two years away still. We are going to miss Jiri next season. He is goofy to watch, but he is very effective. If Brackins doesn't get his head out of his butt, we are in some serious trouble down low next season.
Point is, at least we can hang with teams LIKE OU at home. We can't on the road. We beat Mizzou at home and we'll probably get destroyed by them on the road. We got destroyed by K-State on the road but will probably manage to keep it close at home. Got beat by NU away but will probably manage to beat them at home. And so on.
Who said that? He said we're better at Hilton, which is undoubtedly true. No need to try to **** in a wound.
You seriously don't think we're a better team at Hilton? Minus the A&M game, we have been a solid team at home. On the road, we look like the season just started.
Look like the season just started? More like looks like we just started learning to play period.
We don't have an inside game....or outside game. No one can create their own shot. Jiri and Wesley will have to score 30 apiece to win any games.
