ISU-Iowa line

I'm convinced Cytwins is a hok fan. Didn't know crap about out guys, but can tell you everything you need to know about Ferentz and ci

Seriously, just because I make fun of Iowa fans and Hawk trolls doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about with ISU. I'd love to hear some examples from you
There is none, because you only pop up in threads and say the same **** every time bashing Iowa. We play 11 other teams. Maybe you can look into them as well.

You need more material. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to lay low. Hopefully you'll have more ammunition after Saturday because you need it.

Dude, I've never called someone a Hawk troll that didn't end up being one. If I ever get one wrong it ain't gonna be you, your shtick is way too weak

I think we will play much better this weekend. The mistakes that were made (turnovers/penalties) can be cleaned up. Without those mistakes, the UNI game would have been a couple touchdown win. Without those mistakes, UNI would have struggled to stop our offense.

As for defense, I think we need Willie Harvey to have a great game against the Hawks. I thought our LB play struggled at times against UNI when he was not in there. I thought the rest of the defense was solid most of the game.

I never thought I would see the kind of doom and gloom I have seen here after 1 game. Give the guy a chance to get some of his recruits in and work with them. The defense just got wore out as they just don't have the depth right now. I think people need to cut Lanning more slack also. Let's see after 3 or 4 games how he is.

As far as the Iowa / Miami Ohio game, Josey Jewell was tossed (legitimately) after a couple minutes into the game and he would have been the one calling the defensive adjustments so I don't know that it's possible to understand the loss of him so soon made on how the defense performed. You call the wrong adjustment and it will make the D look bad. It was a redshirt freshman then calling the adjustments when Jewell went out. I am sure he learned a lot.

I do think Iowa is going to win this Saturday and both teams will look much better. I would look for ISU to try to work the edges a lot.

Line play is awful? I mean, if thats his opinion, then ok, but wow. The line opened up holes for the running backs to rush for 212 yards on 29 rushes (7.3 ypc), and 5 tds by 3 different running backs. Daniels and Wadley each had 2, and Mitchell had the 5th. The Dline gave up 158 yards on 41 carries (3.9 ypc) and 1 td. They also caused 2 fumbles (the 3rd was from a LB), and Anthony Nelson (RS FR DE) was named freshman of the week in the B1G with 2.5 sacks and 2 FF. The online were true roaders, and the dline, which did have some pressure issues ill admit, did pretty well with having no help from blitzing lbs, cbs, etc.

Like I said, its his opinion, but I have no idea how would could come to that conclusion.

James Daniels first start at Center too. He was calling the blocking schemes. I would say pretty damn good for his first game doing it.
